When I Was Young
6 04 2009

And these pictures are me when I was a wee little lad. Got the idea from @DMosley. In the first one my dog is sportin’ the Larry Bird jersey and I got the shorts on. To say I was a Larry Bird fan would be an understatement.
The second pic is of me in a yearly school pic. Don’t remember what grade I was in, though.
The third pic is my favorite. It’s of me in a wheelchair with a cast. I like how I’m shootin the gun and holding the bottle. straight classy. I know you want to know how it happened. My sister broke my leg in a crazy pillow fight. Crazy, huh? She was quite a bully.
And the last picture is me at Easter when I was 3 or 4. I should wear an outfit like that for Easter that every year.

My Favorite Shirt
2 04 2009
Does anyone else out there have a favorite shirt and wear it over and over again without ever washing it? I do. It’s a green Boston Celtics shirt. I started liking the Boston Celtics because of Larry Bird. He’s pretty much the only reason I like them. You can get the same Boston Celtics shirt here. So if you see me wearing it all the time it’s because it’s comfy, not because it’s the only shirt I own.

Rosary
31 03 2009
I’m posting something that not many people know about me. I wear a lot of jewelry usually not seen by people, but worn under layers of clothing. My favorite piece of jewelry is a rosary I wear almost every time I go out. No, I’m not catholic. I don’t use them as prayer beads and I don’t say Hail Mary’s. It was given to me by a friend about three years ago. The deal was that if he went to church with me, then I would go to church with him. I said “sure”, so I went to mass with him once. I got to see what Catholicism was all about – nothing wrong with it; just ended up not being my cup of tea. But,the rosary does remind me of the Lord’s Prayer, which I believe is very important. I like tradition in moderation. The Lord is HUGE. He covers all denominations. I appreciate both sides of the church- the “relevant” church and the more “structured church”. So yes I wear my rosary.

Diversity In the Church
30 03 2009
I never film church (Sorry for the quality. It is from my iPhone), but I was given the chance to this weekend. As I was filming I noticed all the different types of people in our congregation at The Church at Chapel Hill. Not just different races, but different ages, body types, you name it- we got it. I just think it is so awesome that all different types of people can come together and worship God. It was just meant to be this way. Absolutely amazing. He is not interested in how you look. He only cares about your heart.
Oh by the way songs played in video are Jesus Messiah and Jesus Paid it All (first song on list).

Robot Art
10 03 2009(On website click Works in top toolbar, then choose corrected paintings)
Ok, this is genius. This guy here takes old paintings found in flea market, garage sales, hideous painting finding areas, etc. He then carries them off to his studio and paints robots and monkeys into the paintings. They are blended into landscape to make it look like they should have been there all along. Sells for $400+. Pretty awesome idea, huh?
